The Halo Classic 4v4 Rules and format

Format: 
  • 64team
  • Double-elimination
  • All sets will be BO5
  • The Grand Finals will be BO7

The tournament will follow MLG v8 settings

General Rules:
  • If a team fails to report to their station 15 minutes after the start time, they will forfeit the first game.
  • If a team fails to report to their station 20 minutes after the start time, the team will forfeit their BO3 series or the second game of their BO5 series. 
  • If a team fails to report to their station 30 minutes after the start time, the team will forfeit its BO5 series.
  • Games started without the approval of a Referee will be restarted.
  • Incorrectly ending a game, without Referee’s permission, will result in a Forfeit of the Game.

  • Primary weapon= Battle Rifle
  • Frag Grenades= x2 (For Heretic it will be plasma grenades x2)
  • Shield Recharge Rate = 90%
  • Damage Modifier = 110%
  • Player Speed = 110%
  • Motion Tracker Mode = Off
  • Suicide Penalty = None
  • Betrayal Penalty = None
  • Team Changing = Not Allowed

Gametypes:
*All games have a 15-minute time limit. However, CTF matches have a 15-minute regulation time period, with an extra 15 minutes set in case of a tie or sudden death.*

Team Slayer:
  • Score to win= 50 kills
  • Custom Powerup Traits, Duration = 3 Seconds
  • Custom Powerup Traits, Damage Resistance = Invulnerable
  • Custom Powerup Traits, Shield Multiplier = 3X Overshields
  • Custom Powerup Traits, Shield Recharge Rate = 200% (Faster)
  • Custom Powerup Traits, Player Speed = Unchanged
  • Time Limit = 15 Minutes
  • Vehicle Set = No Vehicles

All Slayer games will be played on the following maps
Amplified, Construct, Narrows, Heretic, The Pit

Team Oddball
  • Score to Win = 250
  • Ball Carrier Traits,
  • Damage Modifier = 50%
  • Time Limit = 15 Minutes

Oddball will only be played on Guardian

King Of The Hill
  • Score to Win = 250
  • Ball Carrier Traits,
  • Damage Modifier = 50%
  • Time Limit = 15 Minutes

King of the Hill will only be played on Construct

Multi-flag CTF
  • Flag At Home to Score = Enabled
  • Flag Return Time = 3 Seconds
  • Flag Reset Time = 15 Seconds
  • Flag Carrier Traits, Damage Modifier = 50% 
  • Time Limit = 30 Minutes

  • CTF will be played on the following maps: Heretic, Narrows, Onslaught and The Pit

*Narrows and The Pit have a maximum score of three captures. Onslaught and Heretic go to five captures.*

Banned Gameplay:
1. No leaving the normal boundaries of a Map.
2. No going onto the crane boxes on Amplified.
3. No going onto the ledges above the lobby on Construct.
4. No going onto the top center structure on Guardian.
5. No going onto the high ledge at the sniper tower on Guardian.
6. No going onto the ledge around the edges of top yellow on Guardian.
7. No going into the small crack in front of blue entrance on Guardian.
8. No going onto the ledges around the outside of bottom middle on Guardian.
9. No taking the oddball onto the ledge behind the blue ramp on Guardian.
10. No taking the oddball onto the ledge facing the elbow on Guardian.
11. No going into the attic above the bases on The Pit.
12. No use of the Elite Armor Classification.
13. Players and Coaches may not look at an opposing Player’s TV or projected screen. 14. No quitting out of a Team Slayer Game.
15. No placing the oddball out of reach, in an area where it won’t immediately “Play Ball”.
16. Intentionally breaking Gameplay Rule #15 will result in a Forfeit. Unintentionally breaking Gameplay Rule #15 will result in a Foul. Fouls stay with a Team throughout the Event. Two Fouls during one Game will result in a Forfeit of the Game. Once a Team reaches two Fouls, over the course of the Event, each additional Foul will result in a Forfeit of the Game. Players will be considered to have intentionally broken Gameplay Rule #15 if they deliberately throw the oddball into an area where it won’t immediately “Play Ball” or if they let their Character idle and die above an area where the oddball won’t immediately “Play Ball.”


UGC Harassment Policy
We at UGC strongly believe that all attendees, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff should feel safe and comfortable at all times.

UGC Tolerance Policy: Acts of violence or sexual harassment will not be tolerated. Any instances of violence or sexual harassment must be reported to the security office or a security staff member immediately. UGC Management will promptly respond to any threat, incident or suggestion of violence or sexual harassment to anyone attending any of our events.

UGC expressly prohibits any acts or threats of violence or sexual harassment by any attendee, exhibitor, volunteer or staff against another in or around the convention facilities or elsewhere at any time.

For purposes of this policy, a threat includes but is not limited to any verbal or physical harassment or abuse, attempts at intimidating or instilling fear in others, menacing gestures, flashing of weapons, stalking, or any other hostile, aggressive, injurious and/or destructive actions undertaken for the purpose of domination or intimidation.

We specifically discourage attendees, exhibitors, and staff from engaging in any physical confrontation with a violent or potentially violent individual. We do expect and encourage all attendees, exhibitors, and staff to exercise reasonable judgment in identifying potentially dangerous situations: threats, threatening language, or any other acts of aggression, violence or sexual harassment made toward or by any attendee/exhibitor/staff will NOT be tolerated and should be reported to the nearest UGC staff member immediately.

Any use of abusive words/racial slurs when referring to another player, coach, volunteer, spectator, Or UGC employee will not be tolerated. If you are caught harassing anyone, you, and your team will be removed from the venue, disqualified, and banned from future UGC events.
