The derby format is a competitive scoring system for tournament play which awards points over a series of matches that are added together cumulatively for a combined score. In this format, teams will be able to compete freely in as many matches as they would like within the allotted time period (Oct. 12, 6:00 PM CT - Oct. 25, 6:00 PM CT) and submit the match results which they would like to be used for the Apex Predator Series scoring. The ten (10) highest scores only will be considered.

This competition is for teams ONLY!

All matches should be played in the public playlist.

Predator Series Finals:
Following the derby portion of the Apex Predator Series, the top 15 scoring teams will advance into the Predator Series Finals to compete alongside the U.S. Army Esports in a 16-team skirmish.
Teams competing in the Predator Series Finals will have a time frame of three (3) hours to play in as many games as they can where only the five (5) highest scoring matches will be counted towards the final score. After the time expires, teams will NOT be able to submit match results, whether they are still playing in a game or not. This goes for both the Predator Series Final and the derby portion.
At least one member of each team must stream their perspectives to UGC in the Predator Series Finals to be eligible to win prizes.
To be featured on our live broadcast of the Predator Series Finals, players who have qualified ONLY must submit their stream URL addresses to info@ugc.gg with the following information:
  • Team name
  • Stream URL
  • Gamertags (clearly identified for each stream URL, if multiple)
We will issue a reminder too of this information prior to the Predator Series Finals starting. We encourage all players who qualify to share their streams for the broadcast!

Score submission:
The Apex Predator Series will utilize technology used to process and compile match scores via our UGC Esports platform.
Following the conclusion of a match, players should submit the end of match screen that showcases scores in the ‘Reporting” tab of the UGC Esports platform
Players can submit as many screenshots as they want, though, only the top ten (10) highest scoring matches will be considered for the final score. The 15 teams to advance into the Predator Series Finals will be determined by your total cumulative score, which combines kill count and placements to move on to the next heat on October 25.
NOTE: If you have already submitted your ten (10) screenshots, you will have to delete previous scores manually to input new scores.

Substitutions:
  • Each team will be allowed one (1) substitute player.
  • To add a substitute player, please add the player to your UGC Esports team (not the tournament lineup).
  • After doing so, please contact RJ “Nin” Hall (Nin#6804) or UGC Eric (UGC_Eric#1634) in our community Discord channel and identify your substitute.
  • In the event your team qualifies for the Predator Series Finals and places amongst the top three, the prize winnings will be paid out to the three players who had played in the final heat.
  • Distributing payouts towards the fourth player will be at the discretion of the team.
  • No substitutes or team changes will be permitted after the Predator Series Finals start, so please ensure you have your team of three that you intend to compete with in place.

Anti-Cheat Improvements:
In an effort to maintain competitive integrity, we are implementing new security and anti-cheat measures to enforce legitimacy across all UGC competitions.
The screenshot verification process will now analyze metadata embedded into the images submitted on the UGC Esports platform. Scoring screenshots submitted outside of the Apex Predator Series start times will be flagged and analyzed by a UGC admin for official review and ruling. Additionally, doctored images will immediately be flagged and the account linked to the image in question will be frozen until approved or denied by a UGC admin.
Any participant caught cheating - in the form of submitting previous screenshots or doctored images - will be disqualified and banned from participating in future UGC Esports online tournaments.
All accusations of cheating or violation of any of the listed rules require proof from the accusing party. UGC admins will make the best judgment around accusations of cheating to enforce any penalties and to make the best-informed decision. The burden of proof is on the accusing party. We highly suggest that as many players as possible take pictures/screenshots and/or videos of their matches to support their claims. If no proof can be provided of a cheating accusation, the results of the match will stand.
